Construction Set to Begin on the TF Library Very Soon!!!

The Tinton Falls Library received an early holiday gift this year! The mold remediation was completed, and the remaining repair work was advertised for public bid this Fall.  The Borough received 6 bids for the project and a contract was awarded to West End – KB LLC at the November21 Borough Council Meeting. The pre-construction meeting was held on Friday, December 8th, and the renovations are scheduled to be completed by the end of February 2024.

Even after the construction is completed, we will have a lot of work to do to get ready to reopen. One big challenge will be to restock our empty shelves with new books and other materials for circulation.  As a Member Library of the Monmouth County Library (MCL) system, we have received a huge amount of help from Heidi Amici and her staff. We’re so grateful for all their support and guidance. Even now, they are hard at work ordering a core selection of books for us to place on the shelves as soon as we can enter the building.  Once that’s done, we’ll still need additional new books, magazines, and other materials to stock our shelves, but it's a great start!

Thank you for your continued support!  Keep following our updates as we prepare to turn the page and start a new chapter in the story of the Tinton Falls Library!
